Laboratory Associate, Integrated Discovery Research

W2 Contract-to-Hire

Salary Range: $83,200 - $104,000 per year

Location: Redwood City, CA - Onsite Role

Job Summary:

This position will be within the Chemistry laboratory management function and will require a basic understanding of chemistry and chemistry lab operations. The Temporary Chemistry Laboratory Associate will provide support to the Discovery Chemistry department, working with various laboratory functions such as Medicinal Chemistry, structural biology, analytical Chemistry, and others.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lab supplies and reagents.
• Chemical inventory.
• New reagents registration.
• EH&S and facilities coordination.
• Equipment maintenance.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• BS or BA in a scientific discipline, preferably Chemistry or Biology.
• Experience in safe handling of chemicals.
• Experience working in an industry chemistry lab is a plus.
• Academic experience accepted.
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Excellent team player attitude.
• Detail-oriented and high organizational skills.
• Curious, driven, and willing to learn.
