Human Resources Coordinator
W2 Contract
Pay Rate: $27 - $30 per hour
Location: Hayward, CA - Onsite Role
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator provides recruiting coordination and administrative support for day-to-day Human Resources operations in a manufacturing environment. The role is responsible for managing the interview process end-to-end, maintaining accurate records, and supporting core Human Resources activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Owns interview scheduling end-to-end across multiple roles and departments.
- Coordinates complex, multi-interviewer panels across managers and teams.
- Manages calendars, confirmations, and scheduling updates with accuracy.
- Screens resumes and conducts initial candidate interviews.
- Maintains candidate tracking and communication throughout the hiring process.
- Maintains employee records and updates Human Resources systems.
- Processes routine transactions, including hires, changes, and terminations.
- Coordinates onboarding and supports compliance audits.
- Provides administrative support for benefits, payroll, and workers' compensation processes.
- Responds to routine employee inquiries and escalates as appropriate.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; college coursework or associate degree required; bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting coordination, or administrative support.
- Experience in coordinating and conducting interviews is required.
- Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment preferred.
- Experience supporting hourly production hiring preferred.
- Strong understanding of recruiting processes, onboarding, and Human Resources recordkeeping practices.
- Working knowledge of employment practices and confidentiality standards.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook calendar management.
- Hands-on experience using Human Resources systems such as Paylocity or similar.
- Ability to generate reports and present Human Resources information clearly to employees and managers.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism, and confidentiality.
