Pay Rate: $67 - $76 per hour

Location: Cupertino, CA - Remote Role

Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Python full-stack engineer to help build and maintain internal services focused on data governance, privacy, and emerging AI-driven workflows. This role is engineering-first and is suited for someone who enjoys owning systems end-to-end, from writing code to deploying and operating it in production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain Python-based backend services using frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI
• Develop APIs that support agent-based and automation-driven workflows
• Build and maintain lightweight frontend components, primarily using React
• Own deployments from development through production, including CI/CD pipelines
• Containerize services and deploy them to Kubernetes-based environments
• Monitor, maintain, and improve the reliability and availability of running services
• Work closely with the data platform and privacy teams to support data governance and privacy requirements
• Build and maintain internal tools and services that integrate with existing data registry systems

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Python in a production environment
• Experience building APIs using Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks
• Working knowledge of frontend development, with React preferred
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes
• Comfortable owning services end-to-end, including deployment and operational support
• Ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on AI-driven or agent-based systems
• Background in data governance, data platforms, or privacy-related systems
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools
• Experience supporting internal platforms or developer tooling
