W2 Contract

Salary Range: $158,000 - $178,800 per year

Location: Redwood City, CA - Hybrid or Remote PST

Job Summary:

As a Clinical Data Manager, you will support study-level data management, primarily data cleaning and reconciliation, including all aspects of the data management (DM) process from project planning, development of project documentation, system set-up, and UAT through database lock. You will support projects and may grow into the leadership of tasks and study oversight.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform in-house clinical trial data cleaning and reconciliation.
• Responsible for adhering to timelines and quality of deliverables.
• Participate in department or cross-functional initiatives.
• May represent CDM in study team meetings.
• Manage data management timelines to coordinate and synchronize deliverables with overall study timelines.
• Review and align work following study documents, including study protocols, Data Management Plans, Case Report Forms, data transfer specifications, SAE and/or external data reconciliation plans, and coding conventions.
• Distribute data management metrics, listings, and reports as required.
• Perform QC on project files to ensure expected filing is current according to relevant processes.
• Support user testing of data entry screens, electronic edit checks, data listings, import/export programs, and medical coding.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or health-related field
• 3-5 years of related data management experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Extensive experience with EDC (preferably Medidata Rave) and data cleaning
• Prior oncology/hematology experience is highly desirable
